A Million Ways to Die in Carcassonne offers fiction, essays and poetry that explore the complexity of a romantic and playful Gen X woman raised in between the subterranean underground of America and the 1%. This collection includes coming of age tales and tall tales. From a first fight, to floating in the sea in Naples, to memories of two outlaw Jewish godmothers, to winning big at the racetrack, to believing in love again in a therapist’s office in Brooklyn. Adami’s tales of the heart come in many forms.
